A diaphonic frolic song from Kyustendil, Western Bulgaria. Learnt with Prof. Svetla Stanilova, in Plovdiv. The shepherd plays his Kaval flute, up in the forest, when he hears a maiden singing, in the valley below. He takes his herd down, to graze on the virgin pastures and drink of the purest water… And so, a first love is consumed.
