Drawing on an ancient Tūhoe karakia (incantation) from East Coast Aotearoa / NZ, Hirini Melbourne’s composition Tīhore Mai Te Rangi invites the rain to cease and the sun to shine… Opened by Sally Howe, of Cook-Island decent, Acapollinations’ performance is strongly inspired by the harmonies of Moana and The Moa Hunters.
